B.O.B (Brave Outdoor Bushpig)

Location: Carlisle
Age:  Unknown (Estimated to be under 1)
Species: African Pygmy Hedgehog

About: Bob came into the rescue after being found wandering through a garden, making his exact age a complete mystery. However, due to his size, quills and nails we have estimated him to be under 1 years old.
He is underweight and has had a few struggles with his diet since coming in. He is extremely nervous so will need a very experienced home to deal with these special needs. His is currently under observation while he gains his weight and becomes more confident so is not currently up for adoption.

Suitable for: Very Experienced Home

Shadow

Location: Carlisle
Age:  9 months old
Species: African Pygmy Hedgehog

About: Shadow is an extremely shy hog and is literally scared of his own shadow. It can take up to an hour before he will even unball and even then he is very sensitive to noise. Due to his behavioural issues he is currently not available for adoption whilst we try to socialise him.

He is extremely fussy with his food, only eating kibble at the moment, refusing anything else from bugs/eggs/pinkies/raw etc, although his diet is still work in progress.

He likes to sleep and thus usually has quite a nice clean wheel most mornings. We are hoping he becomes more active when he becomes more settled in his new foster home.

Suitable for: Very experienced owner
